Appointments and Referrals
The initial appointment is booked as a parent only session, and this can occur either in our clinic rooms or by telehealth. This ensures any services provided meets individual needs. At this appointment we conduct an initial interview and also arrange consent. We will talk with you about the goals for psychology services and supports.
The cost of a 60 minute psychology session is $232.99. Assessment appointments are charged at the same rate, although assessments also require further offline time including report writing. The cost of individual assessments can be discussed during your intake call. You are able to self refer to see a psychologist and can pay privately for services.

NDIS
Early Childhood intervention is intended to provide children with developmental delay and disability and their families the supports needed to provide the best possible start in life. Services aim to promote the child’s development, child and family well being, and engagement in the community.
Therapy supports including counselling supports are evidence based supports for people over the age of 9 years that assist the person to build or maintain skills and independence. Support is designed to assist with everyday activities at home or at school, and in the community. Skills development can include adjustment to disability associated with a new diagnosis, help to build skills in social connections and engaging with others, and skills towards increased independence as examples. The psychologist can also help identify personal and societal barriers related to disability and learn ways to manage or overcome them. The focus of supports is always on increasing the persons quality of life and relationships.
A treatment plan can provide you with a Medicare rebate for up to ten sessions with a psychologist per calendar year. To arrange a plan, you will need a referral from you GP or specialist.
